Powered by an exceptionally quiet, fuel-efficient 224cc Westinghouse engine with automatic low oil shutdown. An advanced active throttle system adjusts engine speed to produce only the power needed for the load being demanded of the generator, creating incredible fuel efficiency with up to 18 hours of run time at 25% load on full tank of gas (fuel tank size is 3.4 gallons). Because the engine is not constantly running at full speed, operation noise can be as low as 52 decibels.

The iGen4500c features an advanced carbon monoxide detection system that continuously monitors carbon monoxide (CO) levels while the generator is operating. The generator will automatically shut down before CO levels detected near the generator become dangerously high.
